go pole
I've made it to my pole workout class twice this week.. monday and thursday. Muscles are BURNT! Now just trying to keep on the momentum and consistency. Two weeks ago i made twice in the week, then nothing last week.

week in review
Hi bloggee's.. well this post is not going to be on the inspiring side. I'll just use it as - next week i'll do better. I did work out but on the super bare minimum. I did a short run after work tue & thrs.. that's it. No pole, no run/workout before work, no spinning :(. ( I was contemplating all 3 through out the week) I don't know if it was the rainy weather.. or getting my period.
Oh well. I still have the weekend! And wait until next week i'm going to be on top of things. Oh i did start a new diet change - trying to not have any alcoholic beverages Mon -thrs. Usually i feel pretty dehydrated anyway if i have a good workout.. then small glass of wine w/ dinner.. so it should help as well as cut out a few calories.

Morning workout!
I finally worked out on my off-Friday! I just rode 18 miles and I feel great! I actually got up "early" (for me) at 7:30am to go ride with Jeff to work. We had breakfast along the way - it was great. Then I saw a film shoot on the way back. I feel totally energized for the rest of my day! How often do you guys work out in the morning? Any tips on how to feel motivated to do it before work?

I went running!
Yeah!! I went running tonight! Ran to the end of the strand and back...ok ...there was some walking in there. Saw lightening in the clouds over Malibu that was pretty cool. Hoping to do some road biking tomorrow - got to get in shape for our Maui trip. :)

workout log
Last Thursday finally made it to pole class again, after a couple week hiatus from my just trying to get back into it again. I learned a new spin (that i can't do so well yet) a good drills, that i kept practicing through class since i couldn't do the 10 in a row. great class.. i felt great after.
this weekend... soooo sore, couldn't move arms.. wanted to veg.. oh well guess that's the mark of a good class. Sunday i did a 3 mile run to get the blood and lymph flowing again, and biked in the afternoon. Met my little sis and we biked from her place just west of marina del ray up to santa monica.. it was a decent trip.
Monday finally could move again and i made it back to pole. she taught us an awesome move (that i can't do and didn't try).. but one day. But my muscles are acclimating again and today i don't feel too bad.
How about anyone else.. what's everyone been doing? getting to the gym? outside?
oh one more thing.. water. I'm so bad i drink diet cola at work ( i want to quit it) , coffee tea, but not much water. Yesterday i worked from home.. when it was like 115 degrees i think i drank more water than ever before. That's one of my goals - phase out diet coke - phase in Water!

weekly catchup
Ok.. perhaps there's been some slacking this week.. why i haven't posted.
The week started out well, some biking on Sat with a few hills was fun. Sunday morning did a long 5 mile run, yay. Monday night, met big G for a hike up Griffith. It's a short hike but steep. Great sunset views. I was on a roll!
... then Tue came. I was a bit tired, stayed a bit late at work got home late and chose WOW over working out. Ok maybe a rest day was ok. Then wed. i wasn't feeling great had a little sore throat so i went out with work peeps for dinner instead of working out. Ugh. Today .. back on track!
